LSIS: refreshing the National Improvement Strategy (NIS)
February 2009
LSIS has been leading on a consultation with its national partners in the FE and skills sector to refresh the National Improvement Strategy (NIS), aiming to build consensus among providers and partners for a manageable number of core self-improvement principles. These principles aim to provide the platform for a coherent, concentrated set of activities undertaken by organisations across the sector to improve the performance of the learning and skills service.
At IfL, we wanted our response to the consultation to be informed by the views of our members and we invited you to share your thoughts on the proposed principles.
