Dedicated to brilliant teaching and training: IfL’s employer recognition scheme
We have developed a new recognition scheme, dedicated to brilliant teaching and training with employers who want to show support for their teachers and trainers’ membership of IfL. This is part of our essential to our work in promoting and valuing the professional status of members.
The recognition scheme enables employer to demonstrate their commitment to the following values:
- We will actively encourage and support our employees to register with IfL and renew their registration annually
- We will actively encourage and support our employees to complete sufficient and relevant professional development for their role in our organisation using new technologies where possible to develop their skills
- We will actively encourage and support all IfL members in our organisation to gain the professional status of Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) or Associate Teacher Learning and Skills (ATLS)
We are currently developing a mutual recognition process with employers who demonstrate a commitment brilliant teaching and the professionalism, development and commitment of IfL members. The scheme has already attracted expressions of interest from over 100 leaders.
