Only through IfL can members gain the full professional status of Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) or Associate Teacher Learning and Skills (ATLS), by undertaking professional formation.

IfL works to influence the national FE and skills agenda by building relationships with key decision makers in other sector organisations, agencies and government departments. Through your IfL membership, you will have the opportunity to contribute to consultations of members on key policy areas adding to the collective voice of the frontline teachers and trainers who make up our membership. You also can stand for election and get involved in IfL’s governance.
