Resources to support your CPD
In response to member feedback, IfL is building a library of online resources to support your continuing professional development (CPD). As dual professionals, IfL members are required to keep up-to-date with the latest developments in their subject or vocational specialisms as well as their teaching practice. These resources will help you find links to CPD opportunities through IfL and across the further education and skills sector.
The Institute for Learning has teamed up with award-winning learning provider EduCare, to bring you a new and exclusive member benefit – your own professional support programme at a vastly reduced cost.
Based on the Ofsted 15 areas of learning, IfL is working to build a list of online resources to support your CPD, whatever your subject or vocational specialism.
IfL has developed resources and activies to support your CPD in relation to your teaching practice. Covering a range of topics such as dyslexia, peer assessment of learning and using mobile technologies, these resources will be updated regularly.
Social networking site Twitter is a great place for teachers and trainers from the UK and all over the world to share resources, ask questions or engage in a discussion. This page shows some IfL's picks of the best CPD tips on Twitter. You can also follow us on Twitter at IfL_Members
If you know of CPD resources or examples of activities that other IfL members might find useful, please email webmaster@ifl.ac.uk with your ideas.
