Supporting practitioner researchers

Research shows that teachers and trainers who work on an evidence base of learner impact achieve better results and overall improved practice. Practitioner research is generally well recognised in FE and skills beyond QTLS status. In this section you will find information and resources from IfL and other organisations which support practitioner researchers in FE and skills.

IfL Fellowship Research Programme

The IfL Fellowship Research Programme is aimed at developing research and publication skills for IfL members. You can now register your interest to apply for the programme for 2013-14 (June - June) or 2014-15 (June - June). 

CPD Exchange

CPD Exchange offers practitioners and researchers a medium by which they can request information, data or any other help in relation to their own professional development and/or research.
