I am approachable, confident and self-motivated with extensive experience in a variety of training roles. I am a ProgrammeArea Manager and a committed member of staff here at Stanmore College and have also been a member of the Board ofGovernors as a Staff Governor, I am also a member of the ATL union, a local ATL rep and President of Harrow branch of theATL. My area of speciality is Hospitality, Travel and Tourism and also international sales, marketing and management withparticular emphasis on international cultural awareness. I am well organised, confident and a team player with leadershipskills.

With a background in leading and motivating teams to achieve their full potential I am able to show companies how to maintainhigh standards of customer service and to deal tactfully and diplomatically with difficult situations even when working in ahigh-pressure environment. I have extensive experience of FE Educational issues and also of hospitality, travel & tourism,retail, business development and educational organisations.

I have a wealth of experience in the design and delivery of creative training and development solutions, which producemeasurable improvements in performance. Drawing on line management experience in the Tourism and leisure retailingindustries, I have also participated and run workshops on Employer Engagement for the Ofsted. I am able to translate businessstrategies into learning objectives, develop and deliver imaginative solutions and design evaluation processes which measureeffectiveness.

I am enthusiastic about developments in FE, and as a local ATL representative one has the skills and knowledge in givingadvice and guidance. My professionalism ensures I am trusted, respected and dependable, my background and experiencetogether with a keen interest in FE education means that I can contribute positively to the IfL Council.

I have good interpersonal and communication skills which facilitate the development of excellent working relationship withcolleagues, clients and the general public, I am computer literate and grasp the new technology with open mind, I am also aReiki Master.
