“A hearing of the [Professional Practice] Committee shall be conducted in public unless, in the interests of justice or some other reason, the Committee directs that all or part of the hearing shall be conducted in private.”
“In the determination of his civil rights and obligations…, everyone is entitled to a fair and public hearing… Judgement shall be pronounced publicly…”
“…any judgment rendered in a criminal case or in a suit at law shall be made public except where the interest of juvenile persons otherwise requires or the proceedings concern matrimonial disputes or the guardianship of children.”

Hearings of the Committee are held in public, unless in the interests of justice or for some other reason the Committee directs that all or part of the hearing should be conducted in private. If you are interested in observing a Professional Practice Committee hearing please email us at least 48 hours before the hearing with your name, contact information, which hearing you would like to attend and details of any particular access requirements. Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
