The Tariff is an interactive guide for teachers, traines and tutors working in the further education and skills sector.  By entering the name of your initial teacher/trainer training (ITT) qualification in the search box below, you can see how it maps to the generic FE teaching qualifications introduced for the sector in England in 2007.FE teaching qualifications framework

By identifying the coverage of your qualification, the Tariff can help you start at the appropriate point for meeting your regulatory, and/or contractual, obligations to hold the relevant qualification for your teacher, trainer or tutor role and work towards professional status.

The Tariff includes qualifications held by teachers/trainers/tutors in all further education environments including further education colleges, work based learning providers, adult and community learning services and Third Sector organisations.

Please note: tariffs for qualifications mapped after September 2011 (release of revised generic FE qualifcations by LSIS) can be found on the New Tariff of ITT Qualifications (2011).
